Shipping policy

C & M Navigation Systems

All of our physical goods will be dispatched within 1 working day and, by default, posted free of charge to your designated delivery address specified at the time when the order was placed, using either Royal Mail Tracked 48 or 2nd Class Signed For service (estimated 3–5 working days for UK deliveries, Monday to Friday, and 5–7 working days for European destinations), except for items purchased through a Pre-Order offer, where stock is not yet available, or in rare instances when the seller is temporarily unavailable due to an extended Out of Office period. In such cases, clear notice will be provided on the website at the time to ensure full transparency.

Pre-orders typically take around 30 business days or more to be delivered. This will be clearly stated on the product page.

Occasionally, if issues arise with Royal Mail’s service, we may use an alternative courier such as Evri, Yodel, FedEx, DHL, or others, based on who offers the best delivery times at the time.

Free postage is only available for UK orders over £10. For orders under £10, postage fees apply based on the item’s weight and dimensions.

You may also choose an upgraded postage option at checkout:

  • Standard Postage (Royal Mail Tracked 24): £5.99 extra – Aims for 1–3 working day delivery (UK only).

  • Express Postage (Royal Mail Next Business Day Guaranteed): £15.99 extra – Aims for 1–2 working day delivery (UK only).

We follow Royal Mail’s official working schedule. The cut-off for same-day Express Postage is 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Please note, we require at least 2 hours before this deadline to prepare, pack, and dispatch your order.

Express Postage means next working day from the date of handover to Royal Mail. For example, if an order is placed on Wednesday before noon, it will be dispatched on Thursday and delivered on Friday by 1 PM. Please account for possible delays caused by Royal Mail or public holidays.

We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by the courier. However, if your parcel is delayed by more than 4–5 days beyond the expected arrival date, please contact us so we can investigate with the courier. Proof of purchase will be required.

Orders containing items supplied by our third-party partners may be shipped from different warehouses and arrive in multiple parcels, possibly on different dates and via different couriers. Only Sat Nav units and accessories shipped from our own inventory are eligible for Express Postage.

Pre-Ordered Items

We occasionally offer pre-order-only products. These are not immediately available and are subject to the following conditions:

  • Delivery Time: Estimated at 30 business days unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment: Charged at the time of placing the order.

  • Cancellation: Allowed any time before the item is shipped.

  • Partial Shipments: Items in stock may be shipped separately at no extra cost.

  • Product Changes: If product specs change before release, we will inform you.

  • Limited Availability: Fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.


Delivery Confirmation & Disputes

Delivery is considered complete once the parcel is marked as 'Delivered' by the courier, with supporting GPS data, date and timestamps, photographic evidence, or a recipient signature. This constitutes full contractual fulfilment.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address or safe place (if applicable) provided are accurate and secure for deliveries. Please double-check all the details, particularly the delivery address, before placing the order. We are not liable for parcels lost or stolen after confirmed delivery to the correct address.

In the event of a dispute, we will provide all available evidence (including GPS data and courier photos) to the payment processor and reserve the right to contest any false claims through Action Fraud UK and/or Small Claims Court.

Knowingly filing a false claim or chargeback after confirmed delivery may be treated as fraud under the Fraud Act 2006. We take such matters seriously and may restrict future sales or support offered to individuals who abuse the system.


International Customers (Non-UK)

If you are based outside the United Kingdom, you are responsible for ensuring that customs documentation is completed correctly and for paying any applicable Customs Tax or Import Fees before the parcel is returned to the UK or accepted at its destination.

C & M Navigation Systems will not cover any customs charges or duties for cross-border shipments. If we incur customs fees upon return of an item, these charges will be deducted from your refund, and an invoice will be provided to confirm the amount.
